Not many people know that Ellie The Empress had a deep connection working with the Criminal Justice system. In this video, she shares her experiences working as a prison warden. And for most who did not know about it, she has a college major in criminal justice, and since there are not as many job offerings when it comes to a criminal justice major, working as a prison warden is quite oan
Like most of her fans, I initially did not believe that she had been around a prison environment. She had earlier shared a picture of how she dressed to work. Anyone can be forgiven for not identifying her at first sight. There is a lot of body covering, the jacket, and all the gear she has to wear to work. It would be hard for anyone not to recognize her with all the curves concealed. It was even more unbelievable that Ellie said she had worked for about eight years as a prison warden in both male and female prisons.
Fans had very crazy questions about this, and it is expected that most people have a very crazy perception of the prison environment. In the video, while seated at her tub in a brown animal print swimwear. Ellie tries to answer some of the questions her fans were asking her about her experience as a prison warden. One thing is certain: many of them are crazy, and I couldn’t help but wonder how Ellie kept a straight face while going through them. She is asked if she ever fought with the inmates in one of them. I have always seen prisons to be such a volatile environments and never gave it much thought whether there is a possibility that the inmates would be fighting the staff, and, yes, related to that, if female staff were at all safe in male prisons. Ellie explains that inmates and prison staff never get along so well. They never fight with the staff but instead with fellow inmates. The prison staff only gets in to break into such fights.
Another question, yet the most interesting, was why Ellie had to stop working as a correctional officer. Her answer is pretty simple. Like most of us, our career choices are seldom driven by what we like but by what is available or works. For Ellie, the eight years as a correctional officer was a period in which she pursued a career that seemed to work. When she figured out that content making and fashion were her things, she had to juggle the demanding 16 hours a day shift as a warden and spend time with her phone. When she got into the real estate business, it became even more challenging to manage her business while away from the phone for that long. She had to quit and let herself focus on something she loved doing (and paid better).
